About
Just as the art/fashion company ZEROFRIENDS has been sought after for it’s imagination and branding abilities for huge clients, ZEROFRIENDS FILMS uses it’s unique backgrounds in every visual medium to provide substance, spectacle and entertainment to the film world.
The creative machine is led by Stephen Reedy and Alex Pardee, whose video cliental include Bad Robot, Warner Brothers, Sony and studio projects such as writing / producing the Warner Brothers animated property Chadam and developing ABC’s TV show V.
Stephen’s education began with the family cam-coorder and refined itself when a job as a celebrity interview journalist allowed him to ask filmmaking titans about intricate, dorky directing philosophies (much to the hatred of their PR people). Billions of production hours later, he has become an obsessive force of stylistic short-form storytelling, with successful backgrounds in theatrical movie trailer editing (Transformers, Grindhouse, Smokin’ Aces), Eisner award winning comic book writing and an MTV Movie Award nomination.
Recently interviewed on Carson Daily, Alex is an infamous force in the pop art / painting universe, responsible for production design and marketing key art for Sucker Punch, The Used and Inglorious Basterds while birthing several gallery shows whose over-packed openings resemble more of a sold out movie premiere than a typical exhibition. He went from a struggling graffiti hoodlum to creative superstar. Despite several high profile clients, his favorite accomplishment is founding Zerofriends.
By combining Alex’s artful imagination and Stephen’s experience in the moving-picture-mediums, they and all of their creative monsters join together to deliver visual and emotional experiences that live outside the norm while retaining relatable sensibilities everyone can feel.
